Wednesday evening

Zach Moon will speak on “Such a Time as This.” Zack, is a life-long Friend, born into Berkeley Friends Meeting (Pacific Yearly Meeting) and currently a member of Camas Friends Church (NWYM). His ministry for the last eight years has been as a chaplain with veterans and military families. He serves currently as Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology at Chicago Theological Seminary. He is author of Coming Home: Ministry That Matters with Veterans and Military Families (Chalice Press, 2015).



Thursday evening

Clear Creek Monthly Meeting will be doing a presentation on what it means to be a monthly meeting in McNabb, Illinois. Clear Creek Meeting is celebrating their 175th anniversary this year.



Friday Evening

Square dancing with the ILYM standbys The Rusty Pickup Band and snacks on the front lawn.



Saturday Evening

Jay Marshall, will speak on "Knowing, Being, Doing: The Journey toward Opened Hearts." Jay Marshall is Dean of Earlham School of Religion, having served in that capacity since 1998. Prior to that, he was a pastoral minister in North Carolina and Indiana Yearly Meetings. In addition to the usual responsibilities of a dean, Jay teaches and writes on the topic of leadership with a particular interest in how Quaker principles can contribute to the discussion. His most recent publication, “Quaker Contributions to an Integration of Spirituality and Leadership,” appeared in the Spring 2015 edition of Journal of Religious Leadership.
