It supports the spiritual growth of middle school age Friends and creates a safe, inclusive community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">EVENTS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>April 12-14, 2019 (Grades 5-8)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Middle School Retreat at Spring Blue River Quarterly (BRQ) Meeting at Camp CILCA 4124 County Rd 4 \u00bd W., Cantrall, IL 62625 (near Springfield)BRQ is a retreat with programs for all ages and Joy will be leading the Middle School group. This is the \u201cmoving up\u201d retreat, meaning that 5th grade Friends are invited to join the Middle School group (6th-8th grade). The Middle School Friends sleep together in the dorm sleeping area with 2 adults Friend. The theme of this retreat is TBA since the BRQ sets a theme for the whole group. Camp CILCA is a beautiful place with woods to hike in and a pond with a beach for wading and sand castle building.\u00a0 To be clear, BRQ retreats are retreats with programs for all ages.\u00a0 Spring BRQ always has a special middle school retreat.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>June 19-23, 2019 (Grades Rising 6-8)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ILYM Annual Sessions at McNabb, ILAt annual sessions, Middle School Friends meet as a group in the mornings in the Fox Hole Thursday-Saturday and present their epistle on Sunday morning.
