All ILYM Friends are invited to join the Environmental Concerns Committee fall retreat at the ILYM campus on September 23, 2023, starting at 9:30 a.m. and lasting until around 5:00 p.m. The retreat will include a relaxing and worshipful walk across the campus grounds to appreciate the natural beauty and discuss past and future ECC projects. The retreat will also examine and plan for future developments in the pollinator garden. Perhaps those attending might see migrating monarchs. Additionally, there may be a discussion about reviving the campus nature walk. After potluck lunch, those attending will settle into meeting for worship with a focus on business for visioning on future direction of the committee with suitable exercise breaks.
Please bring a dish for potluck lunch, suitable clothes, and optional field guides and binoculars as our focus will be on the natural environment of the treasured ILYM meeting grounds. Bring ideas and concerns looking forward.
