Spring work day on ILYM campus in McNabb, Illinois, will be held Saturday, May 13, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending around 5:00 p.m. Lunch will be potluck, please bring something to share.
Some of the possible tasks are as follows:
- Pick up sticks and move to burn pile
- Move cut up tree logs at campground to campfire area
- Tear down the lattice at the CC House
- Miscellaneous grounds work, garden work, hedge trimming, dead branch trimming, etc.
- Repairs to holes and the underside of flooring at HS bunkhouse
- Clean up animal debris at HS Bunkhouse
- Possible stair and deck repairs at HS bunkhouse
- Railing repairs at meetinghouse ramp.
- Remove tape from glass and putty windows at the MH toolshed
- Scrape and paint concrete block walls at MH Diningroom and front DinRm stair.
- Get window ready to install the dehumidifier at the MH recycle room/kitchen area.
